The certifying body HETAS encourage having your chimney swept at least twice a year, particularly when burning wood and at least once a year when burning smokeless fuels. Regardless of what type of chimney you have, it will need regular sweeping. You can trust us with your stove or fireplace, as certified and fully insured HETAS trained Chimney Sweeps.
Of course, there are other times you may require a sweep - if you are buying or selling your home, installing new equipment or if you notice tar, bad smells, soots or birds around your chimney. Whatever the reason, please call us and we can advise.

What happens during a Chimney Sweep?

When we come to your home our priority is to provide a quality service. We always strive to do a job well, rather than fast.
During a sweep, your chimney will be swept, vacuumed, scraped clean, and all other component parts are scraped and vacuumed. Your stove will be cleaned and the fireplace hearth will also be vacuumed; we hope to leave your home as clean as we found it or even cleaner! Following a clean, we perform a smoke and leak test and a certificate of our services will be included upon completion.
